Xisto – Roquette & Cazes 2012 launch

In July another edition of Xisto – Roquette & Cazes was presented to the market – 2012. This wine presents itself as a clear homage to the Douro soils. Daniel Llose, Chief winemaker of Lynch-Bages alias his experience to the Douro know-how of the winemaker of Quinta do Crasto, Manuel Lobo, showing a different approach but not less excellent of the Douro terroir. This wine has a very complex nose, presenting fresh notes of wild berry fruit, elegant spicy hints and delicate cocoa sensations. Xisto – Roquette & Cazes 2012 has an elegant beginning leading to a voluminous wine, with an excellent structure made of powerful yet smooth-textured tannins.
